Hi all,im returning to Saltash to visit my wifes relatives in August and im hoping to fit my bike in amongst all the other stuff my wife will want to bring down with her.If anyone fancies a good ride out on the 13 and 14th and you wouldent mind the company please let me know.Im not the fastest rider in the world but im not the slowest either.
I came down to Devon in May to ride the Dartmoor Classic and completed it in 7-20.
Must do better next year.

Hi, can anyone recommend a local wheelbuilder in Plymouth who can retrue a Mavic Askium front wheel that has gone a bit wonky. I've had a go myself but can't get the spokes to remain 'flat' when I increase their tension. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi all, I dont know if this is the right forum but I,ve got a Brand new Planet X rear disc with Tufo tub and cassette, Zipp 440 front wheel with Conti Podium for sale. also a New Dolan stealth track frame size 3 with Prolite forks. Hi my Grandad was called Robert Wilson, He raced with a Plymouth cylce club, I was passed on all his medals,
Alli know is he died in a cycle race in the 1950's, & was wondering if any one has any info on him? is bob wilson robert wilson?

Browsing through the PCCC site and enjoying recognising names and faces i saw Robs message cajoling us to sign the guestbook. So against my usual instincts here I am. Still cycling up here in N Wales but finding less time now i'm a father. 8 weeks old with a great cycling name - Miguel. Hope to join up for a club ride when I'm down this summer

Hello. Just thought I would let you know that your website is read out in the depths of Tanzania. Whoever is responsible for updating, thanks and keep up the good work. MDCC website is a little... slow (and that's being polite!). It's always good to see results and piccies. I'm still pedalling even out here. There is even a cycling cub in the town where I live (Dodoma), so am doing a mixture of mountain biking and road riding. Anyway, hello to anyone out there. On a recent bike ride with my fiancé Nicola, we stopped off at Warren's in Ivybridge for a cup of coffee and cake. Before ordering we were barked at by the short women behind the coffee counter to get over there if we wanted to be served. I thought I was in Royston Vasey. I then ordered some cake and was told that I couldn't have it because the computer said 'no'....in other words, the eat in price was not on the till, so she refused to let us buy it. Nicola said she would eat it under the table and the woman said, 'no I can't let you do that, you can buy it and take it outside to eat it but you can't eat it in here with your coffee'. I thought I was in a little Britain sketch and exactly where they get their material from. So next time you go to Warren's ask for the ones to the right of the counter with happy birthday and insist that you eat in!! Enjoy |

Just a quick note on the sunday ride, dated 20 Jan. In light of some of the mixed views about PCCC being unsympathetic to the less able rider I would like to thank all today who patiently waited for me. Waiting at major turns is the way ahead and should be the default from now on. That said as soon as I am fit I will make best effort to get off the front at every occasion!! |

Hi!!! Basically i'm a first yea stuudent at the Uni and was a racing member of the Ogmore Valley Wheelers at home, and after a term of getting used to uni life i've decided i rally should get riding/racing again in the new year, any chance i could get some details on when/where you meet for club meetings/rides? or even some contact details of the person in charge?
Also, sorry if this seems rude, buto coud you tell me what organisations your affiliated with (BC, CTT, CTC etc.)

How are you Chris its mad macey from Goschen yard, seems so long ago I worked with you how are you coping with retirement? Still active I see. I decided to have a go at a triathlon this year and managed 6 sprint events ! Need to get my cycling, runing, and swimming better for next year! I will see if I can manage to join you on a few rides.
